Gratitude affords me a spiritual surrender, metal relaxation and reminds my intellectual self that there is much more to everything then my own selfish wants and needs.
When I find myself at a crossroads I am grateful that I can clear my visual field and see everything is unfolding in perfect universal flow. I surrender to the universal flow. I am grateful for my consciousness.

Gratitude is my choice moment to moment. When my mother was sick and living in Texas, I asked God to give me a sign.. do I go to Texas and get my mom...literally when I asked the question...I was at the drive-through at Burger King in Vegas, (no longer in Burger King drive-throughs by the way) :-) anyway...I look up and see a Texas license plate in front of me. Gratitude. I go get my mom...brought her back to Las Vegas, she passes away shortly afterwards...I ask for a sign she is still with me...Texas license plates show up all over Las Vegas. Gratitude. Fast forward 8 years...my father is in hospice experiencing his last days...here at least...and he knew my mom's license plate story...he said to me..."Doodle, I think that when I die I can do the license plate thing...it will be Nevada plates though" My dad was not a big believer in the after life...so I was thankful he even said it! Gratitude. Now in California..not a day goes by without seeing NV or Texas plate..GRATITUDE!
